I’ve decided to pick this blog up again here in 2023! So much has changed since I last wrote here back in 2017 (almost 6 years ago), it’s hard to know where to start. I could write a lot of posts based on the last 6 years. Let me start high-level with a life and net worth update here.

New Company Roaring!

So I finished my earn out at the big co. (actually quit a bit early, but I got all the stock money out) and started a new company in 2019. The company is now valued at $25M by investors and I own 45% of it still, so that adds to my “on paper” net worth by a lot! My solid net worth has grown a lot too, though, so here’s where I sit.

Net Worth Without the New Startup Equity : $4.574M

Net Worth Including the New Startup Equity : $15.824M

So I’m now heavy on my startup in terms of percentage of my net worth. That’s not unusual for founders, though. I’ve got a lot to write about, but for now I just wanted to kick this back off today with a short update.
